FULL SCALE TESTING AND DESIGNING OF ENZYMATIC HYDROLYZING SYSTEMS.

MEATCO is an innovative thinking company, specialized in exploring new possibilities for upgrading of residual side streams.

Therefore MEATCO operates a pilot plant in which customers can have their own raw material examined and processed under fullscale, official acredited conditions.
These raw materials can originate from meat, seafood, insect or vegetables and are nowadays often under-utilized or discarded as low value products.

MEATCO explores alternatives to benefit from the maximum economical value of these resources and presents the results
in a professional massbalance and/or feasibilty study.

One of the core competences of MEATCO is testing and comparing enzymes for treating these side streams.
Enzymatic hydrolyzing optimizes the separation of the protein, fat and solid fractions in all kinds of raw material.
It enables processors to produce a higher quality of proteins (lower fat and ash content, higher palatbility and digestibility)
and at the same time minimize the protein content in the calcium fraction.

Meatco is also capable to produce final products for petfood and feed applications or for technical usage.
In this way commercial samples can be produced for customers to explore possible new markets.

MORE THAN 25 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN MEAT- & FISHPROCESSING.

MEATCO was founded in 1992 as a technology and R & D center for the food- and feed-industry.

From this background we also serve the meat/fish industry with tailor-made additives and spice combinations.

Also MEATCO has a vast experience on developing predust- & batter-combinations.

On field trials at customer's site are common practice.

Knowledge and expertise in both upgrading raw material and processing, combined with an open-minded approach to current challenges enables MEATCO to recalculate existing recipes and present new possibilities for both R & D and production.
